About This Blog.

I started building as a hobby in early 2018. This hobby was handed down to me by my father, having seen him build his own Tamiya F1 kits when I was a kid, but he wasn’t nearly as good at scale modelling as I am now. Understandable given that back then, if you wanted to learn anything you had to find niche magazines to buy, whereas I learned absolutely everything by spending hours on the internet going through build blogs like the one I hope to create here.

I find that scale modelling is a great way to exercise your project planning skills, and teaches you to be detail oriented and patient. You can’t rush the process. The Renault RE30B was my first ever build, followed by the Ferrari SF70H so don’t be intimidated if you’re on the fence about giving scale modelling a try. You can achieve build qualities far above that of models provided by the likes of even Minichamps on your first try.
