Visible progress has been slow lately due to the repetitive nature of the priming, filling, sanding cycle.

Continuing the long road of decal applications. Today, the nose and front wing decals are complete.

The endless onslaught of carbon fibre decals has worn me thin, so I’ve begun applying the sponsor decals.

I gave the body its first coat of grey primer, exposing more flaws to fill and sand.

I have begun the usual process of preparing plastic kits for primer.

Building Tamiya’s 1/20 Honda RA272, driven by Richie Ginther to win the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix. This build spanned 12 days in November 2018.

The build is OOB apart from ignition wiring and fuel lines. There are so many opportunities to elevate this kit since wires can run freely through the car with little modification.

Building Tamiya's 1/20 2017 Ferrari SF70H, piloted by Sebastian Vettel. This build was my second completed model kit which spanned June -September of 2018.

The fit of all of the parts are spot on, but it's quite complex for painting. Add that to the fact that I'll be using the Studio 27 CF decals and planning ahead is quite complicated.
